✨ Why You'll Love the Money Tree Medium
- Bright green palmate leaves on a decorative braided trunk
- Symbol of luck, abundance, and prosperity in Feng Shui

- Easy-care and perfect for desks, shelves, or stylish interiors

🌞 Light & Placement
Thrives in bright, indirect light but adapts well to medium light. Avoid harsh direct sun to prevent leaf scorch. Ideal for living rooms, offices, or bedrooms with filtered light.
💧 Water & Humidity
Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feel dry. Prefers moderate humidity typical of European homes. Mist occasionally to keep foliage fresh, especially during dry winter heating seasons.
🪴 Soil & Potting
Plant in a well-draining indoor mix with perlite or sand for added drainage. Repot every 1–2 years in spring to refresh soil and support healthy growth.
🐾 Toxicity & Safety
Non-toxic to pets and humans – safe for curious cats, dogs, and children.
🌱 Growth & Propagation
Moderate grower. Can be propagated from stem cuttings, though typically grown from seed in cultivation. Prune to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth if desired.
📆 Seasonal & Special Care
Rotate regularly for even growth. Wipe leaves monthly to remove dust and promote photosynthesis. Reduce watering slightly in winter when growth naturally slows.
🐛 Common Issues
Yellowing leaves often indicate overwatering. Watch for spider mites in dry air; treat infestations promptly with neem oil or insecticidal soap.
🧬 Botanical Background
Pachira aquatica is native to Central and South America and belongs to the Malvaceae family. Known as the Money Tree, it is popular in Asian and European homes for its symbolism of wealth and good fortune.
